Oman: weekend snork

The weekend commenced with a deep sea snork in 'Cemetery Bay', just east of Muscat. After fixing a dodgy battery connection with magic tinkering skills, Russ took the boat out to the bay and parked (that may not be the nautical term). The bay is lined with different types of coral, some of which look like rust-red cauliflower. Fluorescently striped fish of all sizes scooted below, while shoals of fish (sardines?) swam curiously toward this pink animal with plastic attachments. I really need an underwater fish catalogue. Ellie kept sun beds warm for our return and we drank fruit cocktails in the pool until early evening.
