Spent a few hours plotting the route to our Eid camping destination using Google Earth. Previously I have manually edited the exported vector file to make it suitable for the Garmin GPS. However I have found an excellent freeware tool (GPS Utility) which will import/export most GPS formats. The Garmin is now poised to tweet the 450km route tomorrow.
