A large black bag emblazoned with the neatly stencilled words ‘wheelchair please handle carefully’ emerged from the customs area pushed by a short wheezy porter. Mandy & Simon appeared from behind the bag looking remarkably fresh - something to do with an upgrade to business class and splendid Gulf Airways food no doubt.
At the house the ramp fashioned from a Harley Davison ramp and oil-industry plywood elevated Mandy’s chair into the awaiting cheese and biscuits and an official briefing from the tour leader.
