Oman: afternoon tea

After toasting in sweaty heat all morning at the marina, we took Duncan to visit our Omani landlord. He was very impressed by Salman’s new house and keenly tucked into the delicious home-made snacks prepared by Fawziyyah, including samosas, stuffed mini croissants, crème caramel and sticky ball things. Very tasty. On the way back home, we stopped at Carrefour so he could buy a couple of tents in order to live in squalor more cheaply at the Reading Festival over the August bank holiday.
