Oman: Plumbago

As if we do not have enough plants in the garden, Mrs M was on a bit of a quest today to find a Plumbago plant. We drove to most of the garden centres in Seeb to play the same word game in each,

'Do you have a Plumbago?'
'A what?'
(With slightly more emphasis), '....a Plumbago.'
'Aspidistra........?'
'No.'
'Petunia.......Vinca?'
'No....Plum-bay-go.'
'What does it look like?
'Green, small purple leaves.'
'Indoor or out?'
'Outdoor.'
'Oh, Plum-bar-go?'.......very long pause......'sorry.'

We came away without said plant.
