Our brave travellers missed the 11 o'clock tour at the Bait Al Zubair museum due to a slight misunderstanding the day before. However, after a bit of stamping, they were provided with a private tour of the house. In the afternoon, I took Simon to Ruwi to look for taps similar to the fittings in the Dive Centre huts (a rare request from visitors I must say). After trawling several emporiums, we found one shop selling fittings from a German company called 'Dorn Bracht'. One particular tap caught our attention. 'How much?' we cautiously asked the charming Indian manageress. 'About 1500 rials,' she retorted. We declined the offer of the manufacturer's brochure, citing potential trouble with spouses. 'You are very intelligent men,' she said. She was very astute.
