Singapore: Korean seafood pancake

Saemul pajeonMany Korean pajeon (pa - green onions; jeon - pancake) recipes feature the use of packet batter mixes instead of a relatively simple flour, rice flour and egg mixture. Experiments with green onions, a few prawns, calamari and clams with a homemade batter produced a very creditable saemul (seafood) pajeon. Only the rice wine was missing.
