Malaysia: Hakka delights

Petronas Towers, Kuala LumpurIn the early evening, we bypassed the ‘No Tickets Today' signs to ask the young lady behind the desk if there were spare tickets for one the evening ascents of the Petronas Towers. She had been programmed to respond to any question with ‘…you haven’t got a ticket sir,’ or 'we have tickets for Sunday.'
Hakka restaurant - Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur

With much mumbling, we took refreshment in the Suria KLCC mall before strolling through the City Centre Park towards our early evening dining venue. The Hakka in Jalan Raja Chulan was just beginning to fill with groups of local Chinese as we tucked in to our sweet and sour pork, noodles with minced pork and Szechwan prawns. Mrs M had to be restrained to prevent the ordering of a second dish of sweet and sour. Quite superb.
