Mrs M and I spent the afternoon in a rather unusual place of entertainment. Some of our favourite shops in Singapore are the kitchen emporiums in Chinatown, but Tools of the Trade (ToTT) on Dunearn Road was a real treat; an enormous, well laid out shop filled with quality domestic and commercial culinary equipment at very reasonable prices.
We’ve been searching for something to grind herbs and spices for months, so imagine our delight when we found a huge granite mortar and pestle…….for only $20.00!?!?! No, it wasn’t a mistake. Amazing. That's about the price of a cup of coffee in Singapore.
