Although I've tried a few jungle sketches in the last few months, I took the opportunity for my first attempt at an urban sketch. I sat opposite Cavenagh bridge in the company of some vicious ants for a couple of hours which is probably too long. After showing me one of her sketches on her phone, a Japanese art student said I should be more 'scibbly'. She was not wrong. I said I was not brave enough to colour it on site, so she suggested I took a photo and painted it at home; which is exactly what I did.
