I sat on the steps near Colston Street until the cold forced me down the hill to the café to defrost with a hot coffee and a disappointing sausage baguette. A second attempt was going well until my lines became uncontrollably squiggly from shivering. Mrs M said I should buy some proper clothes.

UK: Dying for one’s art
