The happy landlady cooked us full English breakfasts which provided sufficient calories for a day of shopping.We later met Flossie’s surrogate parents, who have looked after her for the last few years, before visiting the rest of her extended family who have recently moved from Poolesville in Maryland to Port Pendennis marina in Falmouth. We enjoyed an evening of grilling, beer swilling and family toilet humour.
