Oman: no squirty stuff at the airport?

Mrs M flew to London this afternoon to visit her mum who is in hospital. The airport was very quiet so I had time to observe the ROP’s (Royal Omani Police) compliance with the Municipality hand sanitation directive. No squirty liquid in sight. One (possibly sleeping) female officer on an x-ray machine wore a face mask, but all the male officers wore their masks as neck warmers. What a farce.

Presumably the aircrew will be coated in sterilising jelly and wearing lab suits, rubber gloves and facemasks while in such close proximity to passengers. No. I don’t think so. Out of sight, out of mind. Better put squirty stuff outside shops – much safer.
