Oman: oh fishy, fishy

There was much haggling for tuna and kingfish at Muttrah fish market before we headed to the Qurum nature reserve where Neil ticked off a few more feathered creatures while we consumed coffee at Japengo’s.

Meanwhile the ladies were being pummelled and lubricated at the Chedi spa. CP enjoyed a Balinese massage and reflexology treatment while Mrs M somehow managed to make a pedicure last for an hour. When we met them for lunch around the hotel pool, they were as relaxed as jellyfish on a plate.

More pool activity took place back home where grown-ups played with inflatable toys. The moon shone on the Weber as the coals sizzled from the fish’s olive oil, lemon and caper marinade. There was much consumption as we ran through Mrs M’s programme for the next few days.
