It is traditional for the M families to get together on Christmas Eve before satisfying the obligations of our other families over the festive period. Slightly earlier than usual, we gathered at Piazza Firenze in Hampton Hill with an additional member of the M family who joined last June.
The tradition includes the exchanging of presents and this year’s gifts included consumable items and things to improve the smell of the recipient. Jamie received a Subbuteo game which came with an extra, somewhat obscure team known as Brentford. Al gave a set of moustaches to the Teddington Ms which provided the opportunity for a reconstruction of their fancy dress booth domination at the aforementioned joining ceremony last summer.
