A post-visit report from the Singapore Zoo
featured raspy giraffe tongues, magnificent polar bears, sweet
Meer cats, orang-utans that bore more than a passing resemblance to two
members of the family, a hairy spider which scared the designer pants
off one of the said monkey lookalikes, majestic elephants and copulating
leopards. Disappointingly, they were unable to find the
giraffe-coloured ‘adventure scooters’ which were the highlight of Mrs
M’s last visit.
