Christmas came early for us today as we bought ourselves a rather slinky automotive navigation system from Garmin. Now, this might surprise some people. However, the purchase was justified on the grounds that my current navigation system is ineffectual in low light or at night, confuses left and right and gets cranky when it's hungry.
