With the news that our baby boy was due to arrive on Christmas Eve, Mrs M was in the mood to celebrate with a large glass of wine at La Forketta in Dempsey Hill.After pouring the wine, the waiter proceeded with great sincerity, to show me the label of my Peroni Nastro Azzurro. He later redeemed himself by bringing me a plate of wonderfully thick spaghetti and mussels. Mrs M's cheeks glistened with happiness from the news and the occasional drop of oil from her excellent pizza topping. Even major pudding confusion could not wipe the grin from her face as she continued the ebullient mood all the way home.
