The inspiring ‘Urban Singapore Sketchers’ exhibition at the Urban Redevelopment Authority on Maxwell Road is set around an interesting model of Singapore. After find
ing the little piece of wood that represented our house, we wandered through more displays which featured larger scale models of other areas of the island. There is also a room which shows some of the craft materials and a number of under-construction buildings, including a model of the Helix Bridge.Exhibitions on planning, architecture, conservation, development and recreation suggest there is still plenty more to explore on this tiny island.
