Austria: A skiing routine is established

A more sensible routine of two hours skiing in the morning, an early lunch at 12 o’clock followed by two hours in the afternoon has been established. As we are eating hearty Austrian food like a couple of pit ponies, an early lunch helps to space the enormous meals. A beer also seems to improve skiing. 

Later in the hotel, we spoke to a chap who was 71 years old and had been skiing every year for the last thirty years. An inspiring role model.
