UK: Singapore to London in 24 hours

Having undertaken several flights in the last few weeks, I was not in the mood for a stressful journey to London. The purpose of the visit was to spend a couple of weeks with my colleagues trying to remember what we did as an organisation.

The door-to-door journey with Qatar Airways took over 24 hours and featured two seven-and-half hour flights, a four-hour stopover in Doha with possibly the worst airport food ever experienced and around ninety minutes of sleep. On arrival at Heathrow, I was surprised that the E-passport facial recognition system was able to match my bloodshot eyes to the passport photo.
