Singapore: Flying to London - chicken or beef?

Mrs M has been in England for the last week leaving me to run down the fridge which I did with a little too much zeal. Last night’s meal included the remainder of a three-day-old sausage and lentil casserole, a few wrinkled peas and a runny banana. Yummy.

Airline advertisements create images of smartly dressed passengers sitting in the corner of humongous seats in a brightly-lit and sweet-smelling cabin being fed by elegant hostesses serving handcrafted meals tailored to the individual needs of the passenger. In reality, the fourteen-hour flight to London was cramped, smelly (why does the toilet always look like a well-used cat tray at the end of a long-haul flight?) and culinarily uninspiring…..all good preparation for landing at Terminal 3. Still, can’t complain.
