I can't believe what I did tonight. It was very late and as I walked past the hotel's 'Elephant and Castle' pub, I spotted fish and chips. I don't know what came over me but I was soon tucking in to a plate of battered cod and quite decent chips. A dollop of 'slaw' and a pickle added an American touch. Mr Samual Adams joined me for dinner.
