Oman: battery recharge day

Today was a stay-at-home day for G & GP to conserve energy for the last couple of days.

After siestas and a longish walk on the beach (creating Cocoa the clown hair), I cranked up the barbeque once again to cook the shauns in baharat. I made this spice mixture a few months ago and it has pride of place in our Rajasthani spice box. The blend of peppercorns, coriander, cassia bark, cloves, cumin seeds, cardoman seeds, nutmeg and paprika makes one just want to dive in and swim around for a bit.
