Oman: can't have too many barbeques

We fired up the barbeque for an evening of al fresco dining with the Abbotts. Flossie disguised the petrol station forecourt appearance of the front garden with twinkly Christmas tree lights and candles, while Al performed some wizardry with a slow-cooked shoulder of lamb and Omani baharat spices. The evening was rounded off with a pile of Karen's legendary profiteroles. Yum.
