Despite twelve-and-a-half hours of overnight sleep deprivation, I was feeling reasonably awake as we arrived at Changi airport. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but the seats in Singapore business class were clearly designed by short people with fleshy bottoms. The legendary airport efficiency seemed to have taken a day off as we waited for almost an hour to clear immigration. Once through however, we collected our bags, whizzed through another luggage scan and stepped into a taxi.
We arrived at the apartment which will be our home for a few weeks until our house is ready. Should be cosy with three cats.
