I recently found a few websites which have stirred some creative juices that were in need of stirring. Nina Johanssen is a Swedish artist whose work has inspired me to experiment and just have a bit of fun. Her website mentions another artist known as 'Sketcher Ed' who links to some superb information on tools and techniques.
After a quick scribble this weekend with my usual 0.3mm markers and, yes, even a splash of paint, I decided to dig out my Hero with the bent nib to splash a bit of ink around on a sketch of my bike, eschewing the rigours of accuracy, geometry, perspective and neatness. Chinese New year is approaching with a few days off to get out and splosh a bit more ink and paint around. Can't wait....
